26 September 2019

Tranmere Rovers International Soccer Academy welcomed a U14 group from Australia this week to the Campus.

The Australian youngsters had a tour of the facilities and took part in a 90-minute training session with the ISA coaches.

The group’s arrival to the Wirral came about through the success this summer where the ISA have delivered ten similar sessions to groups of all ages and abilities from the USA.

Matt Hunter, International Development Coach at Tranmere Rovers said: “There was about 19 players 25 adults in attendance, and it was a pleasure to meet them all.

“The players were hand-picked from various Australian cities to come over to Tranmere Rovers to experience what we had to offer through the ISA programme.

“The players were respectful and they fully engaging, which ensured we had a fun and productive training session.”

The tour company who helped set up the visit for the Australian players was ProSoccer Global and we wish them all well for the rest of the tour.
