The Wirral Sports Forum are delighted to announce the winner of the Wirral Sports Personality for 2019 as Tranmere Rovers player, Connor Jennings.
Connor played a major and inspirational role given his personal circumstances, in helping guide Tranmere to back to back promotions, ultimately scoring the winning goal in the Wembley League 2 play-off final against Newport County earlier this year.
The Wirral Sports Awards are held annually with the event significantly growing each year. This year marks the 55th year of the awards. The ceremony will be held on 10th October at the historic Hulme Hall in Port Sunlight.
