The first SWA2 Fan Zone of the 2019/20 season proved a great success on Saturday afternoon!
Held between 1:30pm-2:30pm in the Recreation Centre prior to Tranmere Rovers’ Sky Bet League One home fixture against Gillingham, young supporters were able to partake in a range of activities.
On offer for the SWA2 included the popular Turn Up and Play football sessions, which have been moved to match days following the summer.
The SWA2 Fan Zone is free for both TRFC season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders.
James Boulton, a member of the SWA2 who attended the Fan Zone, spoke about his day.
James said: "We did some great training before and then we played two matches against different age groups and one against our age group and it was really fun.
"It is really fun and all the kids were really nice, and at the end two Tranmere players, Evan Gumbs and Jacob Maddox came in with Rover and we had to get a big picture, it was really good."
