Tranmere Rovers Chairman Mark Palios has confirmed the Club will be removing the 9th August early-bird season ticket deadline.
The Club announced last week the deadline for early bird prices for the 2020/21 campaign, but the Chairman has now indicated there will be no deadline in place for the foreseeable future.
He said: “I took the decision the other day, we are now not going to have a season ticket deadline.
“We are appreciative of the support shown by so many fans have purchased season tickets to date but, in these difficult times, we don’t want to force people to buy by putting a deadline in place. This is especially so when the reality is we don’t 100% know when people will be allowed to return to the stadium and watch a game of football.
“We may have to re-instate some type of deadline when we find out what the protocols are around how many fans we can let into the ground because there is no sense in selling more season tickets than people we are allowed in.”
