Club Statement: iFollow and an update on supporters returning to Prenton Park

26 August 2020

Following today’s announcement from the League regarding iFollow, Tranmere Rovers Football Club can provide the below update regarding the streaming service and what it means for our fans, including season ticket holders.

The Club can confirm all season ticket holders will receive an iFollow match pass for all home league matches for the 2020/21 season until it is safe for crowds to return to Prenton Park.

This means iFollow passes provided by the Club for season ticket holders for home league matches will not continue once season ticket holders are allowed back in the stadium. This offer will only apply for fans who purchase a season ticket before 4th October and this deadline has been set by the EFL to all football clubs who run the iFollow service.

Season ticket holders will be given priority by the Club to enter the stadium on a matchday once we are allowed to open our doors for supporters.

In the event that number of season ticket holders exceeds the number of supporters permitted to enter the stadium, we will send out a further communication on how the football club will manage this situation fairly. In such circumstances, any season ticket holders not permitted to attend will be still given a match pass to watch the game via iFollow.

Please note, season ticket holders will have to purchase an iFollow match pass for our behind closed-door home cup matches against Harrogate Town and Liverpool U21s, and this also applies for all away matches, with the price just £10.

For all non-season ticket holders based in the UK, individual match passes for every Tranmere Rovers game are priced at just £10. For full information on how to sign up for iFollow is available by CLICKING HERE.

The Club will be in touch with all season ticket holders in due course with an iFollow code for the league match against Cheltenham Town on Saturday 19th September, 3pm kick-off at Prenton Park.

Please note, the Club will not be allowed to open any facilities at Prenton Park whilst home matches are behind closed doors.

As always, the Club greatly appreciates the support shown by our loyal fan base and we cannot wait to see the SWA return to their home. Season tickets remain on sale for the 2020/21 campaign, with the early bird prices still available. By renewing your season ticket now, it will provide you with the best possible chance to return to Prenton Park at the earliest opportunity. To renew your season ticket now, please CLICK HERE to do so.

*Tranmere Rovers Football Club are working with the league, safety advisory groups and supporters’ groups on a daily basis in order to be prepared to welcome as many supporters back to the Prenton Park as soon as it safe to do so.
