Tranmere Rovers Football Club are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of George Higham.
George was a lifelong Rovers fan and former director of the Club. He played a vital role in keeping the Club alive in the late 1980s when Tranmere Rovers were placed into administration before Peter Johnson bought the Club and provided us with some of the most successful times in our history.
Everyone at the Club passes on their condolences and our thoughts are with his friends and family and this difficult time.
