The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on as people across the globe get ready for another festive season.
Due to Covid-19, many of us will be looking to purchase our gifts online this year, with Amazon one of the most popular outlets for a wide range of different types of presents.
Well, what if we told you there is a way to shop for your desired presents on Amazon but at the same time, raise vital funds for Tranmere Rovers in the Community?
Tranmere Rovers in the Community, the registered charity of the football club, has been accepted for an Amazon Smile account. Amazon Smile is an innovative launched by the online shopping provider, and when a customer signs up for a Smile account, they can opt to choose a charity of their choice for Amazon to donate 0.5% of the net purchase price to that organisation.
The 0.5% donation from each net purchase by Amazon will go towards helping crucial funds for the charity, including the Super White Christmas Appeal plus much more.
Tranmere Rovers Managing Director, Dawn Tolcher, said: “Amazon Smile is a fantastic initiative introduced by Amazon which will have a positive impact on so many charities.
“It is so easy to sign up, all you need to do is go to the Amazon Smile website and type in ‘Tranmere Rovers in the Community’ and set us as the charity you wish to donate to, and Amazon do the rest.
“It comes as no extra cost to the customer as the donation is from Amazon themselves, so it is a great way to help fund the work we do in Wirral on a daily basis.”
