Tranmere Rovers College are now recruiting students for the next academic year, starting in September 2020.
An open day will be held at Prenton Park on Wednesday 19th February at 11am for prospective students and parents to come and see the college for themselves as well as to ask any questions that they have.
The College has been running for a number of years and gives students the opportunity to play football as well as gaining vital qualifications and vocational experience in specific fields that they are interested in for their chosen career pathways.
It boasts an impressive 98% pass rate, way higher than the national average and offers courses right through to university degree qualifications. You will also gain valuable UCAS points for future university qualifications.

Fin Collins
16-year-old goalkeeper Fin Collins is studying a BTEC Level 3 in sport at the Tranmere Rovers Sports College and has been an ever present for the college’s CEFA team so far this season. He recently made his debut for the Heswall first team, keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Rainhill Town Res.
Dan Skillen and Sam Crane
It’s not just the playing side of the college that has been successful. This year has seen current HNC student Dan Skillen take up the role of U16’s coach for the Centre of Development after progressing through the club’s education system.
