Alex Woodyard spoke about the confidence within the team ahead of Saturday’s league clash with 19th place Rochdale.
With some solid performances since joining in January, Woodyard believes Rovers can still turn around the season.
Woodyard said: “I personally think we’ve matched the likes of Sunderland, Ipswich and Doncaster. Although we never won the games, we should fear no one”
“You go in to any game trying to win and of course there’s the pressure because of the lack of wins at the moment but one win and that will soon turn”
Since returning from injury, Luke McCullough has partnered Alex in central midfield with the two building a partnrship in the middle of the pitch.
“Luke is a good player. I’ve played against him a few times now, we knew what he was about, he’s a good player and he’s done well since he’s been back”
“It’s hard to play great football when you're losing game but I think it’s just going to take a win to get us going”
