Ticket update for potential fourth round FA Cup tie

16 January 2020

Tranmere Rovers can confirm that if we get past Watford and reach the fourth round of the FA Cup, we only have two clear days to sell tickets for a home game against Manchester United.

The Club has therefore decided to release tickets for the potential fourth round tie to season ticket holders only in advance of us knowing whether we will qualify for the next stage of the competition.

Tickets will go on sale for season ticket holders from 5pm on Friday 17th January online and from 10am in the Club Store on Saturday 18th January. Season ticket holders can only buy one seat at this stage and will be required to enter in a valid season card number in order to gain access to this priority feature online.

In the event that the match against Manchester United does not go ahead, tickets bought online will be automatically refunded, and tickets bought at Prenton Park will be refunded in the Club Store.

This arrangement will ensure that any season ticket holder can guarantee their seat in what would almost certainly be a sold out stadium.

If we advance to the fourth round of the competition, there will be a priority ticketing structure in place until 8pm on Friday 24th January for all those who purchased tickets for the match against Watford. The Club will confirm details regarding this priority ticketing structure early next week.

This is the only feasible way of giving priority to season ticket holders, and then to people coming to the third round game, in a very short period of time.
