Tranmere Rovers can confirm that forward Paul Mullin has departed the Club on loan to sign for Cambridge United until the end of the season.
Mullin, 25, has made 27 appearances for Rovers so far in the 2019/20 campaign, scoring on five occasions.
The Liverpudlian scored two crucial goals against Watford in the Emirates FA Cup third-round – scoring the equalising penalty in the initial tie at Vicarage Road before an extra-time winner in the Prenton Park replay.
Mullin also helped Micky Mellon’s men to promotion up from Sky Bet League Two via the Play-Offs last term.
Everyone at Tranmere Rovers wishes Paul the best of luck during his temporary stay at the Abbey Stadium.
