Tranmere Rovers and HelpLink join forces to help local community

20 March 2020

As you may have already seen across our social media channels, as soon as the Coronavirus came apparent, Tranmere Rovers Football Club started working on a scheme to ensure that vulnerable people who are self isolating could be supported by daily phone calls and assistance with food deliveries.

We have decided the most effective way to get the help needed as quickly as possible was to team up charity HelpLink. Between us now, we have just under 250 volunteers and more than 800 vulnerable people requiring assistance.

For those who are interested in how the support operation is working, please see below. If you are interested in joining as a volunteer, please email

If you know of someone who is need of help, please email or call 0151 6093325.

In the meantime, if you could please print off the attached leaflet and put it through the letter box of who you know may be vulnerable, and help us spread the word in those needing support who may not be on social media or the internet.
