Match Preview: Morecambe

29 October 2020

Tranmere Rovers return to action at Prenton Park this Saturday against Morecambe in a 3pm kick off.

Morecambe currently sit 12th in the league table with 13 points from the opening nine games.

The sides last met in the 2018/19 at Prenton Park on Boxing Day with Rovers winning that game 3-1. Previously in that season, Tranmere also came out on top in a 4-3 thriller at The Globe Arena courtesy of a late Harvey Gilmour strike.

Team news

Manny Monthe and Corey Blackett-Taylor both stepped up their return to fitness in training this week and could be in contention for the weekend.

Stefan Payne has been ruled out for three months after surgery on his groin and Morgan Ferrier is still struggling with a hamstring issue.
