Kaiyne delighted with his move to Prenton Park

14 September 2020

New signing Kaiyne Woolery says that he is pleased to make the move to Prenton Park after the deal being close to happening in the past.

“I’m really pleased the deal is sorted now. This is a place I’ve been meaning to come to for a while so I’m happy to finally be here.

“Tranmere is a very big club and obviously recently won back to back promotions. Last year’s relegation shouldn’t really have happened so hopefully I can come here and help us get another promotion."

The forward, who comes to Rovers off the back of a League Two title win last season, is already liking the look of his team mates for the season.

“I spoke to the Gaffer he just said what he is wanting to achieve this season and I think you can see by some of the signings already that the squad is looking strong.

“I’m an explosive player, I’m quick and I like to play on the shoulder. I know a few of the lads already which always makes it easier to  settle in.

“Tranmere is always a tough place to come for the opposition so I’m looking forward to getting started now.
