Tranmere Rovers Ladies kick-off their season this weekend with a home fixture against Mossley Hill.
With their season being cut short, the team have been working hard in preparation and are looking forward to the new season ahead.
Tranmere Rovers Ladies first team play in the Premier Division of the North West Women’s Regional League along sides Wigan Athletic and Fleetwood Town Wrens.
Talking before the opening fixture newly appointed first team manager Lee said:
“Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to Louise and everyone at Tranmere Rovers Ladies for the opportunity to manage this team.
“Over the last three seasons as first team coach I have given my all to match the enthusiasm and dedication of our girls and we have made massive strides forward, and I’m honoured to be given the responsibility to make the next steps.
“This weekend see's us start our league campaign at home to Mossley Hill we are hugely excited and can't wait to begin. We are in a really strong league and have nothing but total respect for our opposition but will do all we can to give everything for Tranmere Rovers.
“The girls and coaching staff have been excellent in pre season and the effort and commitment has been second to none and we are ready to go.”
Tranmere Rovers Ladies development team kicked-off their season last weekend with a 4-2 win against Southport Women FC and will look to continue their great start to the season with their first home fixture against MSB Woolton Women.
