Chairman Mark and Vice Chair, Nicola Palios, said: “If we have learned one thing this season it is that football without fans is a very sterile affair and so we can’t wait to have the 12th man back at Prenton Park.

“We have frozen season ticket prices again as a ‘thank you’ for having stuck with us through the difficult last 15 months.

“Whilst we know that many of you are eager to get back to the stadium, we are conscious that some may be nervous about returning and have therefore introduced a non-attending season ticket. This will enable you to keep your current seat reserved and receive an electronic match programme until such time as you feel ready to return.

“We have invested in a new ticketing system which we hope you will find more user friendly. The new system will in particular make it much easier for our disabled supporters to book tickets online.

“At a time when the top echelons of football seem to have lost sight of the real fans, we hope the SWA will be back to enjoy a new season of passion and drama aboard the Rovercoaster.”

A joint comment from Tranmere Rovers Trust and Tranmere Rovers Official Supporters Club said: “On behalf of the Trust and TROSC, we would like to thank fans for their support this season.

“The backing of our fans throughout this season has been magnificent; from more than 3,000 season ticket sales to thousands watching on iFollow and hundreds volunteering to help our Club and local community.

“After the recent European Super League proposal and display of solidarity shown by football fans across the world, sticking together is such an important issue for fans of any club. We feel proud that our fans have displayed this quality in abundance.

‘We appreciate that due to the pandemic, some of our fans have been hit hard financially and that paying for a season ticket may be difficult.

“The continued support and loyalty from our fans is hugely appreciated by everyone at Tranmere Rovers.

“As we look forward to an exciting end to the season and the prospect of crowds returning, we hope that many of our fans will sign up for a season ticket once again.”

In the event of 2021//22 matches at Prenton Park being played behind closed doors, season ticket holders will either get (i) a free ticket for a game at Prenton Park during the 2022/23 season for each match missed OR (ii) a free iFollow streaming pass (if streaming is available) and a TRFC voucher for the difference between the ticket price and the cost of the stream.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the Club by emailing tickets@tranmererovers.co.uk

The Club can confirm season ticket holders who have vouchers to spend with TRFC can use them for full payment on 2021/22 season tickets. Please note, vouchers can not be used against subscriptions
