Ticket arrangements for Saturday's game vs Walsall

6 August 2021

We are excited to have the SWA back with us at Prenton Park on Saturday. Set out below is some more information about the ticketing arrangements for the game.

Please take the time to read them as they are designed to make the process as simple as possible and avoid queueing:

2021/22 Season Tickets

Printed season passes for everyone who ordered season cards prior to mid-July have been available in the Club Store for collection for the last 2 weeks, and they can be collected from the Club Store prior to matchday.

On Saturday, we want to ensure that people wanting to collect season cards won’t have to queue at the shop, and so:

  1. If your season card is for the Ray Mathias Lounge or the Ian Muir lounge, your season card will be available for collection at the entrance to your lounge; and
  2. All other season card collections will be from a desk in the small car park by the FanZone.

We will also be e mailing an electronic season card to every season card holder (regardless of when you bought), so if you want to leave collection of the physical card to a later date, that won’t prevent you from accessing your seat.

You will be able to buy new season cards in the shop on Saturday and will be given a temporary match ticket, but we would encourage people to buy online or in advance of matchday in the shop if possible.  Anyone buying a season card on Saturday will be issued a temporary match ticket, and the printed version will be available for collection at a later date.

Non-Season Card Holders/Walk Ups

We would remind every non season card holder who is planning to come to the game that it is £3 cheaper to buy your match tickets online (at any time up until kick off), or in advance in the Club Store (any time until the Club Store shuts on Friday evening at 6pm).

If you do want to buy a ticket on the day, you can still do so online, for the discounted price. If you want to buy on the day but don’t want to do it online, please come to the Club Store where you will be able to purchase using cash, card or vouchers. The Club Store is open from 9am on Saturday. We have a process and extra staff in place to ensure this is done as efficiently as possible.

We will not be taking payments on the gates themselves, as we need to take people’s contact details for track and trace purposes, as required by our safety certificate for the game. The process of getting through the gates themselves should be quicker in the past, as the new system scans faster and the gatemen will not be processing payments.

Supporters who are nervous about crowds

We appreciate that after such a long period of social distancing, some people may feel uncomfortable with sitting in a crowd.  We have designated some areas of the ground where we will be able to offer socially distanced seats.

If you would like to sit in one of these areas please speak to a steward who will guide you to the correct place. By their nature, capacity in these areas is limited, so if you would like to be moved to one of these areas we suggest you do so early.
