Elliott Nevitt expressed his delight at signing an extended contract with the Club this week.
The striker signed for Rovers in the summer in which was his first professional contract. He says that signing an extension was something he always had his eye on.
“I’m absolutely made up to be extending my contract. It is something that I’ve always known I wanted to do.
“My time at the Club so far has been amazing and I’m still really happy to be here everyday. I feel like I’ve improved from when I first came in, I’m just hoping to score a few more goals now.
After playing regular for Tranmere and scoring in front of the SWA both home and away, Nevitt says that the fans have made him feel very welcome.
“The fans have been brilliant with me and they’ve made me feel like I’ve been here forever. Now it’s just about hard work and improving as much as I can.
It might be easy to forget that Nevitt was playing well below the Football League less that a year ago but the striker explained his determination to keep improving.
“As this is my first season in the League I am still learning but Tranmere is a great platform to do that, and I’m determined to repay the Club’s faith in me”.
