World Book Day 2021 'Story Competition'

24 February 2021

In celebration of World Book Day on Thursday 4th March, Tranmere Rovers in the Community are running a competition to get your story featured in our Matchday programme as part of their Premier League Primary Starts Programme.

Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills and Tranmere Rovers in the Community partner with several schools across Wirral to deliver the programme.

With World Book Day just around the corner, we are wanting members of the #SWA2 to use their English writing and creative skills to create a short story or poem about 'Tranmere Rovers'. This could be about the history of the Club, why you love supporting Tranmere or a short story created about the football team.

The story/poem can be between 200-400 words and the winner of the best story will have their work published in our matchday programme and receive a signed copy of that programme.

Entries close Monday 8th March and they need to be emailed to HannahN@tranmererovers.co.uk
