One million steps in March to raise funds for new lift!

1 March 2021

Throughout the month of March, Tranmere Rovers Associate Director, Martyn Best, will be walking a staggering one million steps to raise vital funds to install a new lift at Prenton Park!

Martyn, who will be accompanied by his close friend, Chris Wainwright, will start the challenge on March 1st, with the target to have reached one million steps by Wednesday 31st March.

The aim is to reach £10,000 which will play a significant role in helping fund the installation of the new lift at the home of Tranmere Rovers Football Club.

This builds into the long-term objective of having Prenton Park ready to welcome the Super White Army back to their home, and we are continuously looking at ways of improving our facilities for all supporters, to ensure everyone has a positive matchday experience.

If the £10,000 figure is reached, the new lift will be installed into the Main Stand and provide access to all at Prenton Park.

The Southern Super White Army and Tranmere Rovers Disabled Supporters Association have together already raised half of the funding required, and we thank them for showing their fantastic support.
