Arrangements for play-off semi-finals

11 May 2021

  • Free tickets for season ticket holders
  • Season ticket holder availability from 9am on Thursday 13th May
  • General sale (if spaces remain) from 8.30am on Tuesday 18th May at standard prices

Tranmere Rovers will face Morecambe in the first leg of the Play-Off semi-finals on Thursday 20th May.

The game will kick off at Prenton Park at 6pm and will be followed by a second leg at Morecambe on Sunday 23rd May, 12.30pm kick-off.

Following the Government’s announcement on Monday 10th May, a limited number of fans will be permitted to attend the home leg only, on a socially distanced basis, subject to approval of our Safety Advisory Group. We expect to be able to accommodate 3,400 fans on this basis.

As a ‘thank you’ to supporters who held season tickets throughout the 2020/21 season, we propose to offer one free ticket for this match to each season ticket holder.

If there are any seats remaining after the season ticket holders wanting a seat have reserved theirs, they will go on general sale at the usual price.

Season ticket holders will be able to request tickets from 9am Thursday 13th May online or in the Club Store at 9am on the same day. Season ticket holders will have until close of business (5.30pm) on Monday 17th May to claim a seat.  Any remaining seats will go on general sale at 8.30am on Tuesday 18th May.

Catering and bar facilities will be open at the ground, although the Fan Zone will be closed. A simplified food offering will be available in the Ray Mathias and Iain Muir Lounges.

Anyone attending the match will need to bring ID with them.

Please can all those attending have a read through out Covid-19 procotols here.

Please note that Tranmere Rovers supporters will not be able to attend the away leg at Morecambe and are encouraged not to travel.

This has been a difficult season for everyone, but promotion may be only three games away and we are delighted that some fans can be back to play their part in trying to make that happen.

We hope to see the SWA back in the stadium, loudly backing Ian Dawes, Andy Parkinson and the team.
