Tranmere Rovers are delighted to announce the Beechwood Recreation Centre will open its doors to the community on Saturday 15th May.
The leisure facility, located off Fender Way on the Beechwood estate, will be hosting an open day on Saturday 15th May for the community to view the centre ahead of official opening on Monday 17th May.
Tranmere Rovers in the Community will host a number of engaging and quality activity sessions on a daily basis. Alongside this, the centre will be hosting education and training classes, with a particular focus on fitness, for those wanting to pursue a career in the leisure industry.
Tranmere Rovers are working in partnership with Wirral Borough Council to develop vibrant community assets, including Beechwood Recreation Centre.
Our open day (Saturday 15th May) will begin at 11am and finish at 4pm, with Tranmere Rovers staff on site to talk and show you through what facilities are available, including a gym with brand new state of the art equipment.
Beechwood Recreation Centre also boasts fitness studios, a multi-purpose sports hall, multi-use games area, changing facilities and car parking, plus much more. There are options to hire out our facilities for classes or private use.
Chairman, Mark Palios, said: “A key pillar of our ethos as Wirral’s Family Club is to provide and develop the opportunities for our local community. We are excited to have the opportunity to operate an important centre in the heart of Beechwood. We look forward to working with residents to improve their health and wellbeing, as well as providing educational opportunities for the area’s young people.”
