Tranmere Rovers’ journey in the Papa John’s Trophy will begin this month when we host Leeds United U21s at Prenton Park on Tuesday 14th September, 7pm kick-off.
We enjoyed a fabulous journey in the competition last season, reaching the final at Wembley Stadium, only to narrowly lose by a single goal against former Premier League side, Sunderland.
Now we want to go one step further and lift the trophy at Wembley this season, and we need the SWA behind us in full force, starting against Leeds.
During the 2020/21 season, we eliminated two teams from League One in the knockout stages, Peterborough United (now in the Championship) and Oxford United, who reached the League One Play-Off semi-finals.
For our opening group game against the Yorkshire side, competition sponsors, Papa John’s, are running a 2-4-1 offer on the first 50 tickets purchased from the Club Store, so don’t miss out on two match tickets for the price of one!
The Bebington End and Bebington Paddock will be open for Tranmere Rovers supporters and tickets are priced at just £5 for all ages and £1 for U18s.
The Ian Muir Lounge is also available, with pie and mash included as the meal, plus hot drinks, with the price just £15 for all ages and £11 for U18s. Please note, the 2-4-1 offer does not apply for the Ian Muir lounge.

“Micky and the team need your support from the first whistle of the first game against Leeds United, and we want to see as many Tranmere fans inside Prenton Park on the 14th September cheering the lads on!
