Rovers boss Micky Mellon offered an honest assessment after Saturday's loss to Newport County, stating that his side didn't show enough character to earn a result in South Wales.
The result makes it four games without a win for Rovers and Micky didn't hold back in his post-match interview, with the boss really opening up on what went wrong for the SWA.
"I'm disappointed with the whole performance if I'm honest, we never really got going at any time. We got ourselves back in it at 2-2 and then we've done ourselves in, really.
"But, really over the course of the whole game, I didn't think we really got going. We didn't show enough character needed at this stage of the season to win games of football.
"We let all the travelling fans and all the ones at home down, we really never found that fight that's needed in games at this stage of the season.
"We've just had a good, frank, honest conversation with them and we were nowhere near the intensity levels or the fight levels needed in order to try and get results at this stage of the season."
