After signing for the Club on Friday, Ben Hockenhull is focused on improving and developing his game at Prenton Park.
“I’m buzzing to be here. I’m really looking forward to getting to know the Club, the fans and the lads I’ll be playing with next season.
“I’ve seen in the past that young players can come through here and develop. I want to do a similar sort of thing, take steps in the right direction and help the club get promoted."
The centre back, who stands a six foot five, believes he can take what he has learnt from his time at Manchester United and Brentford and continue to improve at Prenton Park.
“I like to think that the things I have taken from my previous clubs, I can bring to my game here and add to that from what I will learn from the staff here.
“I always want to improve and become a better player. I feel like this is the right place to do that. I’m a ball playing centre half and I want to play in front of big crowds which is something I feel I can do here. I’m looking forward to it.”
