Ian Dawes said his side tried to manage the game as best they could against a strong Leicester City side in their Carabao Cup Second Round tie, reflecting on the 2-0 defeat.
"We knew going into the game, we watched the previous round and they (Leicester) don't make many changes, they go very strong in this competition. He's taking it seriously, the manager.
"We knew going into it we had to get our defensive organisation right. We watched previous games and teams who pressed and jumped, got played through and conceded opportunities and goals.
"We knew we needed to manage it, limit their chances and then maybe start pushing on as the game went on. I thought we did that really well.
"We managed the game really well first half, limited their chances, had a couple of things on the break ourselves, passed the ball when we could.
