Monopoly Events are delighted to announce that the Wirral Family Festival on Saturday 11th May 2024 will be held at Prenton Park from noon-11pm.
The event is brought to you by the curators of Liverpool’s and the nation’s biggest pop culture event Comic Con Liverpool, who cannot wait to bring the people of Wirral and Merseyside another major event.
The event will feature a live music stage on the Prenton Park pitch where you can stand or watch seated from the stands. The live music stage will feature the UK’s best tribute bands covering genres such as rock, pop, indie, ska, reggae to name a few. A dance music arena including well-known local house music DJ’s will also be a key feature for the adults.
The kids’ stage will feature superhero shows, princess shows, dinosaurs, pony rides, inflatables, zorbing, magic shows, dance shows, talent shows, costume groups including Disney, Star Wars and Transformers characters, facepainting, glitter tattoos, stilt walkers, magicians, pirate shows, toy stalls and a giant funfair packed with rides.
The bars will be serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including craft ales.
The food court will feature cuisine from around the world including Greek, Asian, Thai, Spanish, fresh Pizza and hearty British classics from fish and chips to gourmet burgers. Dessert stands include sweet stalls, donuts, crepes, ice cream, ice curls and more.
For that luxury experience, there are a limited number of VIP tickets that offer exclusive bar access within executive lounges and premium seats with the best views of the stage.
Discounted earlybird tickets are on sale now, and it is anticipated that these will sell out quickly. Adult tickets will be just £17.50 at the earlybird rate, but will increase eventually to £25. Child tickets for ages 4-15 will be priced at £7 at the earlybird rate, which will eventually rise to £10. Toddlers aged 1-3 years are free of charge. Earlybird VIP tickets are £30 for adults, £15 for children, and toddlers are free of charge.
