Tranmere Rovers can confirm that Ross Doohan has joined Forest Green Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The goalkeeper initially arrived at Prenton Park at the start of the 2021/22 season on loan from Celtic before joining permanently on a two year contract last summer.
Joe Murphy commented: “Ross and Matt battled it out throughout pre season and the first 25 games of the season. We are replacing one first team goalkeeper with a massive future with another first team goalkeeper with a massive future.
“It has been a pleasure to work with Ross over the last couple of seasons and I wish him the best of luck at Forest Green.”
