Tranmere Rovers will face Barnsley at Oakwell Stadium on Tuesday 8th August (7.45pm kick-off) in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
Rovers played Barnsley in the fourth round of the competition back in November 1999 on our way to the final, beating the Tykes 4-0 at Prenton Park.
