This International Women’s Day, we have heard from several key figures around Tranmere Rovers celebrating the Club’s opportunities for women in sport, and now it’s time to hear from Livv Edwards, who is a dance coach with Tranmere Rovers in the Community.
We have heard from Audrey Evans, to get a fan’s perspective, Louise Edwards, to get a staff member’s perspective from a women’s and girls’ football point of view, and Jess Durr, to get a player’s perspective after she came all the way through our girls’ football system from age six.
Livv Edwards sat down with us on International Women’s Day to tell us about what it’s like working with some inspirational women at Tranmere Rovers, and how our provision has helped her broaden her own horizons working here.
“It’s nice to see many women in a safe environment where they feel like they can come and be open and really just have fun and enjoy what we have to offer for them,” Livv told us.
“On the social media side of things, picking up on days like International Women’s Day which recognises hardships that women have been through and the importance of equal opportunities, I think Tranmere definitely offers that.”
