Tranmere Rovers are delighted to announce that Sam Taylor has signed a new two year contract with the Club!
The 18 year-old forward progressed through the Club’s College system and has gone on to make six appearances from the bench with some impressive displays including netting his first ever professional goal against AFC Wimbledon last week with an assured finish.
Sam now commits his future to Rovers until the summer of 2025 and becomes the second player to do so, after Tom Davies penned a deal earlier this week.
Manager Ian Dawes said: “We’re really happy that Sam has signed a new contract with us. He’s a player we see real potential in and we believe can keep developing.
“We’ve introduced him slowly in terms of minutes on the pitch because it has to be the right time for young players but I think everyone can see the qualities that he has when he has played including an excellent goal against Wimbledon and he has earned his first professional start today against Northampton.”
“I’m looking forward to working with Sam and seeing him develop even further.”
