We are delighted to announce that Connor Jennings has signed a one-year contract extension until the end of June 2025.
Connor rejoined Rovers in the summer already as a modern-day hero after his unforgettable first spell at the Club.
Since his return, the 32-year-old has established himself as a role model for the younger players in the squad with his exemplary attitude both in training and in matches, and his hard work every time he steps out in a Tranmere shirt.
Connor has made 22 appearances so far this term, happy to fulfil whatever role asked of him and contributing with four goals and three assists. He has now committed his future to Rovers until the end of next season.
On signing his contract extension with Rovers, Connor said: “It was a no-brainer, like in the summer. I'm enjoying my time here so I'm glad to get it sorted and crack on."
Manager Nigel Adkins added: “I think he's been immense (this season so far). He was Man of the Match in virtually every game at the start of the season.
"His attitude every day he turns up, his behaviours, we talk about doing the basics right to an elite level, he does it every day. He's a perfect role model for the younger players to see what elite looks like."
