Dan Pike has stressed the importance of replicating the intensity shown against Forest Green Rovers to help climb the league table.
The full-back was looking ahead to this weekend’s trip to Sutton United, who are just two points behind Tranmere.
Rovers were victorious against the Gloucestershire side last Saturday in the league, and Pike was pleased with the performance.
“It was a great result last weekend. Ultimately, we’ve got to back it up now with three points,” he said.
“We’ve got to go into the game and create a bit of a gap between us and Sutton. After that, we’ve got to keep kicking on and climb up the table.
“I thought we were great against Forest Green. We’ve got to take that into every game now, we’ve set the standards.”
