Tranmere Rovers return to Prenton Park this Saturday to take on Forest Green Rovers, who currently sit just one place higher in the league table.
Nigel Adkins will take charge of his first home game since being appointed permanent manager of the Club until the end of the 2025/26 season.
After a stoppage-time defeat at Stevenage in the Emirates FA Cup last week, despite scoring three goals, Adkins’ side will be looking to carry the momentum from large parts of the performance into this game.
Forest Green currently sit 22nd in the League Two table, three points ahead of Tranmere having won one more game.
Saturday’s visitors drew 1-1 at Scarborough Athletic in their Emirates FA Cup First Round tie last week. They then lost out on penalties to Brighton & Hove Albion U21 in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy on Tuesday evening, following a goalless draw.
Joe Starbuck will be out for several weeks with his foot injury, as will Paul Lewis after a hamstring injury picked up against Stevenage.
Harvey Saunders is available for selection after serving his suspension at the weekend.
