Rovers to honour Remembrance Day at Forest Green fixture

10 November 2023

Tranmere Rovers will commemorate Remembrance Day at this Saturday’s home fixture against Forest Green Rovers.

We will honour our service men and women past and present before the match, the day of which marks the 105th anniversary of the Armistice signed that ended the First World War.

Representatives from local branches of the Armed Forces will attend the match, and wreaths will be laid in the centre circle ahead of kick-off.

A bugler will then play the Last Post, before a period of silence is observed.

We ask supporters to take their seats early, to be able to observe the full service.
