Tranmere Rovers forward Charlie Jolley says the fans will play a big part in the team’s performance this Friday night against Doncaster Rovers at Prenton Park.
Doncaster have had a similar start to Rovers having won four of their opening 13 games and currently sit 19th in the League Two table. A win for Tranmere on Friday evening will see the side one point off their visitors.
After missing a whole season due to injury Jolley is relishing the opportunity he has to play as much game time as possible and help the team climb the table and put in performances the fans will be proud of and the badge deserves.
“We’ve had wins but we haven’t backed them up and consistency is key in this League. You see teams that don’t start very well hit form come January and get promoted.”
“It’s not ideal the situation we are in, we first and foremost need to win a game and then back it up with another win and keep a run going and pick up some points and climb the table.”
“There’s no time to down tools or feel sorry for yourself because we put ourselves in this situation so we’ve got to get ourselves out of it and the only way we can do that is by improving individually and collectively”
