Tranmere Rovers Women suffer a 4-1 defeat away to West Didsbury and Chorlton on Sunday afternoon.
Despite taking the lead through Lorna Stratton, Rovers went on to concede four goals meaning they travelled back to the Wirral with their second defeat of the season.
Tranmere started the game strong dominating possession, creating chances and produces some good passages of play.
Lorna Stratton put Rovers ahead in the 24th minute after Anya McCready played the ball through the midfield leaving Stratton one on one with the keeper and she calmly slotted home.
Moments later and the home side equalised after being awarded a free kick in the Rovers half and despite holding a high line Kerr whipped in the ball to find Gunn who found the back of the net.
It was two for Gunn after she converted a West Didsbury and Chorlton corner to put the home side ahead going into half time.
The second half was slow for Tranmere who struggled to keep control of the ball allowing West to dominate play.
WDC took advantage of their domination and got their third through Thompson who took the ball out wide and chipped the ball over Size and into the bottom corner.
A bad day at the office for Rovers as the home side sealed the game off as Beth Wilson got the final goal of the game that saw Rovers suffer a 4-1 defeat.
Tranmere Rovers Women look to put this game behind them next weekend as they take on Curzon Ashton at Ellesmere Port Sports Village, 2pm kick off.
