Tranmere Rovers midfielder Brad Walker has opened up about his struggles with injury since joining the Club after his impressive return to the side in recent weeks.
Brad has started the last two Sky Bet League Two games under Nigel Adkins, performing strongly on both occasions.
The 27-year-old underwent surgery on an injury in recent months but has worked hard during his recovery to return to the form he his now enjoying.
“I had a bit of a tricky start with no real pre-season coming back from my surgery. I didn’t start the season how I wanted to start and then couldn’t find myself back in the team, but I’m happy now I am back in the team.
“It was tough. No player wants to be injured, and especially for the period I was injured, when the injury just kept reoccuring, I had to get surgery to fix it.
“You’ve just got to be professional and come in every day and try and get yourself better and I’ve worked my socks off to get back to where I am.”
