Tranmere Rovers goalscorer Charlie Jolley pointed to the first-half performance of the 3-2 defeat to Crawley Town on Saturday and said that those are the levels the team have to reach for the full game going forward.
Rovers took a one-goal lead into the break but were beaten after a strong second-half showing from their hosts.
“First and foremost, we’re all disappointed with how the game’s finished.
“The first half, we were 1-0 up going into half time, and then obviously to concede at the end is sickening for all of us and the fans who have made the trip down here.
“Now with added time, it’s going until the 100th minute and we’ve got to perform as well as we did in the first half for 100 minutes.”
