Team news:

Nigel Adkins confirmed in his pre-match interview last week that Jordan Turnbull has had surgery on his shoulder and will miss the remainder of the season, and Brad Walker has had an ankle problem which has been fixed with a view of getting back fit for the start of pre-season.

Kieron Morris, Tom Davies, Connor Wood and Joe Yarney all missed the last game and will be assessed ahead of this one.

Ben Hockenhull was recalled from his loan spell at Southport and made his League Two debut in our win at Newport, and is in contention to continue against AFC Wimbledon.

30-year-old striker Bugiel has 11 goals and three assists for the Dons so far this season. Formerly of Sutton United, Forest Green Rovers and Worthing, the Lebanese forward has played 43 games up front and has taken up the goalscoring mantle following the departure of Ali Al-Hamadi for Ipswich Town in January.

Berlin-born Bugiel began his youth career with 1860 Munich, before moving to England and representing Chichester City’s youth sides.

He started his career with Sussex side Selsey, and has represented Lebanon 16 times on the international stage, scoring once.

Manager: Johnnie Jackson

Johnnie Jackson became manager of AFC Wimbledon in 2022, following a 12-year spell at Charlton Athletic which saw him transform from player to assistant manager, to manager.

The 41-year-old made 279 appearances for the Addicks between 2010 and 2018, winning the League One title in 2012.

He retired and joined the London club as a first-team coach, eventually becoming assistant manager to Lee Bowyer and then Nigel Adkins himself.

Jackson was appointed as manager of the side in December 2021, but left in May the following year.
