3 April 2024

Tranmere Rovers winger Rob Apter has been nominated for the League Two Young Player of the Season Award, sponsored by EA Sports FC, at the upcoming EFL Awards 2024.

Apter joined Rovers on loan from Blackpool last summer and has since made 36 appearances, scoring ten times. He has been an outstanding performer for Tranmere this season with his exciting wing play and goalscoring ability.

Also nominated for the award are Max Dean of MK Dons, and Ethan Pye of Stockport County.

The EFL Young Player of the Season awards are given out divisionally to recognise the best young talent across the League.

The winners of all EFL Awards are to be announced at the League’s annual ceremony in London on Sunday 14th April.

Best of luck, Rob!
