Tranmere captain Tom Davies believes his side still have ‘a lot to play for’, with a third of the season remaining.
Rovers are 16th in League Two, three points off the top half and seven from the Play-Offs, after a much-improved run of form in the last few months.
Tranmere now head to Doncaster on Saturday 10th February, looking to produce their fourth away league win in five.
“There's a lot to play for, that's what we've been saying as a team. There's still a number of games to go and we can do something this season.
“It's obviously frustrating where we are in the league, and thinking what might have been if we'd had a better start. But if you look at the form, since the manager has taken over permanently, we'd be right up there.
“We've got to have a mentality that we're going to go into every game and win it, which is what we've got at the minute, and then match that with the performances and hopefully the three points.
“There's a process to everything and at the minute it's working. We've been on the wrong end of a couple of scorelines, which we maybe felt we didn't deserve, but then I think we've been competitive in every game, even when we've maybe not played as well as we can do.”
