Tranmere Rovers midfielder Brad Walker says he and his teammates are ‘all in a really good place and looking forward to’ this Saturday’s game at Swindon Town (3pm kick-off).
“The results away from home have been nowhere near good enough and luckily for us in December we picked up a good few results on the road.
“We needed to do it because the longer it went on the more it felt like we were never going to get something but it’s stopped now, we’ve put a stop to it.
“We go into every game now with confidence that we can score goals and stop them scoring.”
On the momentum Rovers started to pick up in December, Brad said: “Like the gaffer always says, it’s so hard to get but so easy to lose. You’ve got to just grab hold of it as much as you can.
“When you’re in the good momentum, you don’t want it to stop and you want to keep rolling game after game.
“Obviously we’ve had a little blip, but I don’t think that’s stopped any momentum around the dressing room or the staff around the building, I think we’re all in a really good place and looking forward to the next game.”
