Tranmere Rovers striker Charlie Jolley admitted the team were ‘not at their best’ in Saturday’s defeat to MK Dons.
“We’ve conceded a minute over what we’ve given but that’s no excuse.
“We’ve conceded from a corner. We work on set pieces, we know when teams are a threat. They’re a big team. The lad comes on and scores at the end.
“It was difficult, when you’re not at the best, you’re not at the races, it’s kind of a tough one to take because if we come away 1-1, I know we’re on a good run of form and you want to win every game but sometimes you can’t and the points at the end of the season do add up.
“Unfortunately today, we conceded in the last minute.”
