Tranmere Rovers midfielder Reece McAlear pointed to the momentum his side are picking up after their 4-2 victory over Notts County on New Year's Day, and gave an interesting reason for Kieron Morris' recent run of scoring form!
"Buzzing with the win. We've got momentum just now, we just want to keep it going.
"We need to keep level-headed. There are still plenty of games to play for.
"We knew they were going to have the ball. We turn it over, the first pass has got to be right. That's what happened and we countered them, when they had the ball we were just shuffling side to side. It was a great win for us."
Reece also mentioned a special reason for Kieron Morris' fantastic form of late.
"He's been eating magic bananas, that's what he says!"
