Maggie and Julie from Tranmere Rovers in the Community's Women's Walking Football session spoke to us ahead of International Women's Day (Friday 8th March).
The pair told us about the physical, mental and social benefits of Walking Football for them, and how much they enjoy coming along to our sessions every Tuesday from 11am-12pm.
Julie told us about her grandmother who inspired her to start playing football. Her grandmother played at Goodison Park in 1917 against the famous Dick Kerr Ladies team, in front of the wounded soldiers returning from World War One.
