Tranmere Rovers striker Luke Norris has said he is ‘looking forward to getting a full season in’ after signing a new one-year contract with the Club.
The 30-year-old is happy to put a frustrating first season behind him in which he suffered two long-term foot injuries, but still managed to contribute six goals and four assists.
His new contract will see him remain at Prenton Park until at least summer 2025.
“I’m really happy. I was really excited when I signed here last year, it didn’t really go to plan with a nasty injury but that’s all behind us now, so I’m really looking forward to getting a full season in and I’m really excited for the season.
“Personally, me and my family love it here. We’re right by the coast as well which is lovely, a lovely part of the world, it just rains every day!
“I’ve settled in really well, when I first joined with the football, I got off to a good start. We’ve got a great changing room, some real good lads.
“I’m glad to see we’ve kept the core of the squad here, you see what we did last year when Nigel came in and did really well, and we went on that good run.
“I’m really looking forward to getting going and having a full season under the gaffer.”
