ISA link with the British Football Academy in Kuwait

6 November 2019

Tranmere Rovers International Soccer Academy are delighted to announce a new link up with the British Football Academy in Kuwait. The agreement will see BFA and the ISA work together on player development courses in both the UK and Kuwait.

Head of operations for BFA, Eyad Saben signed the agreement with the Club after initially working closely with ISA’s Johnny Collins. The BFA will now look to implement Tranmere Rovers' expertise in developing coaches and players based in Kuwait.

To help build the link, coaches and players from Kuwait will visit the Club's training ground, The Campus, for coach education and player development courses from 2020.

ISA Technical Director Dan O’Donnell said: "“Partnering with The BFA shows how far our International department has developed in the last three years.

"Good coaches like Eyad are being made aware of the successful implementation of our curriculum in other countries and regions and are seeing the benefit of our methods for their players’ long term development.

"This partnership will work both ways, so as we learn about the culture around football in the Middle East, so too will players and coaches in Kuwait be able to visit our excellent facilities here to do the same.

"It is exciting times ahead for the International Department and Tranmere Rovers as we look to expand our International reach and pick up some new fans along the way."
