The services of left-back Calum MacDonald were secured on a full time contract in January 2021, the defender joining from Blackpool initially on loan.
MacDonald signed his first professional contract with Championship side Derby County in 2016 and was named the Rams’ Under-23s Player of the Year for 2016/17.
2017/18 resulted in a loan move to Barrow, where MacDonald earned 21 National League appearances.
A permanent switch to Blackpool was announced in August 2019, with the young defender securing 19 outings in all competitions in 2019/20.
