Left-back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson signed for Tranmere Rovers in September on a season-long loan deal from Manchester United.
The Manchester-born defender, 22, links up with Micky Mellon’s men for the rest of the Sky Bet League One campaign.
Borthwick-Jackson began his career in the youth set-up at his parent club and make his debut at Old Trafford in November 2015, coming on as a substitute for Marcos Rojo as the Red Devils beat West Bromwich Albion 2-0.
Under Louis Van Gaal’s management, Borthwick-Jackson played 10 times for United’s first-team and won the U21 Player of the Year award at the end of that term.
In August 2016, he switched on loan to the Sky Bet Championship with Wolverhampton Wanderers before a return to the second-tier when he penned a temporary move to Leeds United in August 2017.
Borthwick-Jackson spent the 2018/19 season playing his football in Scunthorpe United colours, making 33 appearances for the Iron in Sky Bet League One.
Tranmere moved for his services and secured a loan deal as he adds to Mellon’s defensive ranks.
Cameron is still available to sponsor the 2019/20 season.
